Our Mission
PDFCheck was created with a simple mission: provide a free, private, and accurate way to analyze PDF metadata without compromising user privacy. Privacy First
File handling depends on the workflow. The core checker does not keep the original upload after the request; editors and converters use automatically cleaned temporary storage, while AI Chat and tracking features intentionally keep private files until deletion.

Technology
PDFCheck transmits data to and from the production website over HTTPS and uses local PDF libraries on its server for core tools. When you choose AI Chat, scanned-document OCR, or configured virus scanning, selected excerpts, page images, file hashes, or files can be sent to the providers identified in our Privacy Policy.
